With reference to previous correspondence on the subject of the New Territories Land Court, I have the honour to transmit for your information the enclosed copy of a Report by Mr. H. H. J. Gompertz and to inform you that the whole subject of Land Settlement in the New Territory is now under consideration with a view to accelerating the work which promises otherwise to be prolonged for an indefinite period.
